Well I can say that his passing has put as much sadness in my heart as the tremendous amount of Joy that permeated within me all those years! I brought my daughter to her first concert,Jimmy Buffet in Bangor Maine!

What Jimmy is/was most notably is a writer. He was a PROLIFIC songwriter. That is what made him. Not his musicianship and certainly not his voice. Though he could carry a tune a just fine. But he was a special songwriter. So so many that I just love. And most of them aren’t fan favorites. Songwriters like Jimmy just aren’t born everyday. Everything else grew from that.

He was a one of a kind treasure!

My all time favorite song of Jimmy Buffett is 'He Went To Paris'. I think the line 'Jim, some of its magic and some of its tragic, but I had a good life anyway'. This for me sums up Jimmy Buffett. RIP.

“White Sport Coats and Pink Crustaceans” and “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes” are my two favorite albums. I heard him at a concert with Joan Baez in ‘75 and enjoyed his music ever since. I wish I had gone to one of his later concerts after seeing this documentary. My son was sung to sleep each night by Changes in Latitudes.

Great video! Its always very exciting and enjoyable to watch the passion go into the process of making a great cigar. Just listening to them talk i can tell this is their life and its very important to the. Ive only been smoking cigars for a yr now and CAO kind of went oversighted unfortunately. And one day i received a gold! Wow was it delicious! Instantly imprinted with me. So im happy to say now ive got my hands on a few of your blends and still im impressed. I don't know how anyone could possibly dislike Jimmy's music. He was so unique, and his music captured the Florida beach attitude perfectly, to me, and obviously, for many others. I was raised in the Bahamas, and Florida, and the first time I heard steel drum in one his tunes back in the 70s I took notice and have been a parrothead ever since. I was shocked and sad when they said he went. His attitude and tunes will live on. RIP Jimmy 😢 🫡 Hope to see you again...

I think that one of the huge reasons that made his connection to everyone was that we each and all believe that there's a little bit of Jimmy Buffett in each and everyone of us, and we dream and hope for the opportunity to find it and live that dream. Just like those fruitcakes.

Great video. Only knock is they focuses too much on the Song "A Pirate Looks at 40" (Mother Mother Ocean) in regards to his life and him and Jane's separation as if Jimmy lived the life in the song lyrics. In reality the song is about a friend of Jimmy's named Phil Clark who was a bartender at the Chart Room in Key West which JImmy later wrote A Pirate Looks at 40 about. It has nothing to do with Jimmy's life.

I miss him. I have many of his albums. And he's the first I go to when im sitting outside and put on an album. Miss ya jimmy.
